Weihua Patent Group of China is an economic and technological organization based on Xingweihua's patented technology and the cooperation of several companies with integration of research and development, production, marketing and service support. The make-up of the group strengthens it and allows it to resist fluctuations in the market.

The group has been researching prepayment meter technology since it was established and has recently been developing non-powered prepayment meter technology using networks, magnetic and IC card readers and data exchange. For several years the group has been concentrating on the development and sale of products using Xing Weihu's patented prepayment technology. These include non-power prepayment water and gas meters which are more advanced than international meters and time-sharing prepayment electricity meters and battery powered prepayment heat meters which are more advanced than those available in China. These and other similar products are already subject to large scale development.

Since the beginning of the new century the group has reformed its structure and increased in size. It has also set up a directorate for the agency responsible for supply of materials, product production, sales and has founded a center for scientific research.

The aim of the group is to supply high quality, reasonably priced prepayment products for several projects including 'transferring the gas from west to east' 'two networks reform' 'the reform of countrywide rural and urban running water pipe networks' 'one meter per household for three Northern China of heating supply' and 'time-sharing measurement for resident using electricity'. The group also aims to further develop its products so that they can compete in the market soon.
